ENGLISH TRANSLATION

"San min chu I", our aim shall be,
To found a free land, world peace be our stand.
Lead on comrades, vanguards ye are,
Hold fast your aim, by sun and star,
Be earnest and brave, your country to save,
One heart, one soul, one mind, one goal!

Wu tzu pao tzu ch'i, wu ku pu tzu feng, kuang wo min tsu, ts'u chin ta t'ung.
Ch'uang yeh wei chien, mien huai chu hsien lieh, shou ch'eng pu i, mo t'u wu chin kung.

Lo! The glorious landscape with bountiful goods! Daughters and sons of Emperors Yan and Huang count as heroes of East Asia!

Creating the nation is difficult, so remember our founders! Maintaining it is not easy either, so do not be short-sighted!
